IRONMEN FOOTBALL AND CHEER 9/11/2022 VS ST. LOUISE TROJANS

The North Pittsburgh Catholic Ironmen organization is coming off of a sweep of the South Hills Chargers.  As they enter week 2, the Ironmen teams are all in 1st place (Varsity tied) in their respective divisions. 

As the Ironmen set off to face the St. Louise Trojans on the road, they look to continue their winning ways. 

​

Last season the St. Louise Trojans Developmental team finished with a 2-3-1 record and were 0-1-1 against the Ironmen Developmental team. The St. Louise Dev team is coming off of a tough loss of 36-12 against Erie last week. 

​

St. Louise JV finished with a 1-5 record, losing both matches to the Ironmen JV team. The JV team is coming off of a tough loss to Erie with the score of 42-8. 

​

The St. Louise Varsity team is coming off of a 3-3 season, making the playoffs.  The Ironmen were able to hold off the Trojans in the regular season with a 2-0 record and defeated the Trojans in the playoffs with a close 8-6 game.  St. Louise Varsity team is coming off of a tough win against Erie with the score of 14-6.

VARSITY IRONMEN

The Varsity Ironmen are coming off of a commanding win against the South Hills Chargers with the score of 28-6.  The Ironmen were led by Sean Miller with 3 touchdowns and the Iron Curtain D. The Defense was able to register 4 turnovers and 5 sacks.  The Varsity team is chomping at the bit to get to their next opponent St. Louise, and they continue to be content BUT NOT SATISFIED!

JV FOOTBALL

The JV Ironmen team started their 2022 campaign strong with a dominant win over the Chargers with a score of 30-0.  The Ironmen were led by Quarterback George Immel, Wide Receiver Jack Croft and Running Back Timmy McCabe.  With the combination of the Iron Curtain, the JV team looks to pursue their next goal: St. Louise..

DEVELOPMENTAL FOOTBALL

The Developmental Ironmen team is coming off of a 38-0 win over the visiting Chargers. The defense was able to preserve the shut out and limit the chargers to a very short offensive day. With another rival on the horizon in St. Louise, the young Ironmen displayed power, strength and motivation ALL 4 quarters!
