The Iron Clad D was led by Jimmy Kalis (6 tackles, 3 for loss), John Flerl (3 tackles 2 for loss) and Hunter Chimenti (3 tackles 1 for loss) and Will Waskiewicz who registered an interception and fumble recovery. JV FOOTBALL
The JV Ironmen team continues to steam roll their opponents in the first 2 games. With a huge 28-0 win over the St. Louise Trojans, the JV team has now scored 58 points to their opponents 0. With a strong 8 quarters of defense and shut out ball over their first 2 games, the JV Iron Clad Defense is getting themselves a name around the league. Some teams fear them, some teams want to be like them. A resilient team that will not give an inch to their opponent such as the game against St. Louise.
As the JV team enters the Bye week, they remain the ONLY JV team that has not been scored upon yet this season and 1 of 3 teams in the entire Pittsburgh Diocese League that has not been scored upon. Cheers to the JV road warriors as the look to continue the pounding until they return home 10/2.
