JV and Developmental vs St. Louise
and
Varsity vs Erie Catholic
The North Pittsburgh Catholic Ironmen JV and DEV teams battled up in Erie and fell just short of coming home victorious. With the JV team coming up short 14-0 and Developmental playing to a tough 28-8 loss. Both Developmental and JV remain in 2nd place and look to secure homefield advantage with a win this Sunday against St. Louise.
The St. Louise Dev and JV are coming off of their bye weeks and sit at records of (JV) 0-3 and Dev (1-2)
The Ironmen Varsity team is coming off a hard fought game that saw them and Brentwood play into the late hours of Saturday night. With both teams battling for first place, the Ironmen were the last man standing with the score of 38-16.
With a win against Erie today, the Ironmen will clinch homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.
Erie Catholic Varsity is coming off of their first win of the season against Westmoreland with a score of 21-0 and sit at a record of 1-3. Erie will look to keep their season alive this weekend against the undefeated Ironmen (4-0).

8th Grade Student Athlete Spotlight
VARSITY IRONMEN
The Varsity Ironmen have fought tough all season and it has shown in their efforts as they have put together 4 straight wins. Coming off of a tough, late night battle with Brentwood, the Ironmen were victorious 36-18.
The offense was led by RB/WR Ryan Snyder who had 88 yards rushing with 2 TDs, Sean Miller RB/WR who had 46 yards rushing and 2 TDs as well as 3 receptions for 17 yards and 1 TD. Overall, the offense accumulated 327 total yards (135 passing and 192 rushing) and 17 first downs.
The Iron Clad D continues to lead the way and are almost impossible to score upon. Now through 4 games, the Defense has let up just 44 points, for an average of 11 points/game. The defense was led by John Flerl who had 3 tackles (2 tackles for a loss) and 1 sack, alongside Sean Miller who had 4 tackles (1 tackle for loss), and Interceptions from Xiah Ninehouser, Will Waskiewicz and Hunter Chimenti. The Defense remains the elite group at the Varsity level and looks to continue their turnover ways this Sunday.
The Varsity team is back at home and will finish the remainder of their season on their home turf over the next couple weeks. With a 4-0 record, the Ironmen will look to secure one of the top 2 seeds today with a win, and secure themselves homefield throughout the playoffs. And as always, they continue to be content BUT NOT SATISFIED!

JV FOOTBALL
The JV Ironmen are coming off of a tough loss against Erie Catholic 14-0. The Ironmen Defense allowed their first points against them this season, but still remain one of the top defenses at the JV level and are not to be taken lightly. With a home game today against St. Louise, the Ironmen with a win can maintain 2nd place, secure home field in the playoffs and get one game closer to playing Erie Catholic again for 1st place in the coming weeks.
The Ironmen will look to get back on their home field and release their offensive weapons as the look to take down St. Louise for the 2nd time this season. The first showdown a few weeks ago saw the Ironmen victorious with a final score of Ironmen 28 to St. Louise 0.

DEVELOPMENTAL FOOTBALL
The Young Ironmen of the organization battled to a tough loss last weekend against Erie, who say themselves let up their first points of the season in their 28-8 loss. With the season midway through the Ironmen developmental team will look to secure home field for the playoffs today with a victory.
The Ironmen will look to turn to their ground game today as they were able to steam roll St. Louise a few weeks ago with a score of Ironmen 26 to St. Louise 0.
The young Ironmen look to get back on their winning ways as the return home for 2 of their final 3 games at JC Stone.
